New here? WELCOME!
We know meeting someone for the first time can seem intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can seem daunting. We want to help make your first experience at City Church a great one!
What can I Expect?
We can't wait to meet you! When you first arrive, you'll be greeted by a team of people who will be excited to see you! If you have any questions along the way, one of our team members will help you.
We want you to feel comfortable. Whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, business casual or suit and tie, as long as you are actually wearing clothes, you will fit right in.
City Church services are about 75 minutes in length. They generally include a time of energetic and heartfelt time of singing (led by a band), prayer and a message from the Bible. Feel free to worship however you feel comfortable. The scripture-based message will encourage and inspire you to come closer to Jesus. We celebrate Communion once a month (which is open to all followers of Christ), and baptism periodically. We also have a prayer team that is available after every service.

What if I have kids?
We are so glad you came with your family! We've created a safe and dynamic place in City Church Kids for kids from birth through 5th grade where they can worship and grow in their understanding of God! Upon arrival, children will be checked in and receive a name tag with a unique number. In case your child needs your immediate attention, a leader will contact you through text messaging. When you arrive, just tell one of our greeters and they will show you to the Family Center Lobby where our helpful attendants will assist you in checking in your kids.
i have older kids, what do they do?
Students 6th through 12th grade are a part of our regular worship services on Sunday mornings in the Worship Center. Every Wednesday night, however, we have a youth service at 7pm in the CCY (City Church Youth) sanctuary on the 5th floor of the Family Center for junior high and high school students. For more information about CCY just click here.
WHERE DO I PARK?
We have parking available right next to the church, with another overflow lot available behind the church on Water Street if the main lot is full. If you’re a first-time visitor, we have special VIP spots saved just for you on the south side of our main parking lot!
Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?
You can breathe easy, the answer is no! Your level of engagement is completely up to you. But if and when you're ready to take a step, we'll be ready! There's a Connect Card that you can choose to fill out in case you have questions, need prayer, or are interested in getting baptized, attending a Journey Class, joining a City Church Group, or would just simply like to be kept updated with upcoming events and activities.
