Pastor Joe and Fran Green
Joe has been serving in full-time ministry since 1991 (long enough to remember church bulletins before email). He and his wife, Fran, have been faithfully serving the Lord together for decades and are blessed with five amazing children who have kept life full, busy, and joyful.
Joe and Fran spent ten years as missionaries in Paraguay, an experience that shaped their deep love for people and their passion for global missions. Since 2016, he has served as Lead Pastor of City Church, where his heart is to help people grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and experience the transforming power of Jesus.
In addition to leading City Church, he serves as a New York Network Presbyter and as the NY Network Missions Director, supporting and encouraging churches and leaders across the state.
Fran loves serving in Kids Ministry and has a special heart for encouraging and investing in women. Together, they are passionate about building a strong, Christ-centered church family.
When he’s not at church, you’ll likely find Joe on the golf course (still believing the next swing is the one) or cheering on his favorite Detroit teams—because growing up in Detroit teaches you both faith and perseverance.
Their greatest joy in ministry is seeing lives changed and people fully alive in Christ.
