We encourage everyone to attend one of our worship services each week where you can connect with God through corporate worship, prayer, and teaching from Scripture.
Find a place where you can serve (care, give, and minister to the needs of others) in our church, our community, and throughout the world.
We have several fundamental beliefs at City Church:
There is only One true God, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three persons are One and Eternal.
Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, 1 John 1:3-4, John 1:18, Isaiah 43:10-11
The Bible is God's inspired Word through and to man, unerring, accurate, and the ultimate source of Truth.
2 Tim. 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21
Jesus Christ was both human and divine, and lived a sinless life which He willingly gave up in death on a cross to pay for the punishment for all the sins we've committed. Every person can have a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to God but through Him.
Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31, Heb. 7:26, 1 John 4:2, Heb. 1:1-13, John 5:22-23, Rom. 5:12-19, John 3:3
Water Baptism is a public testimony of our new life in Jesus Christ, demonstrated through the symbolic death and resurrection with Christ through the act of immersion in water. Communion is our way of recognizing and remembering Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us.
Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:16, 2 Pet. 1:4
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a sign and empowering gift that follows salvation. Evidence that one has received this Baptism is produced by speaking in other tongues.
Acts 8:12-17, Acts 15:7-9
Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is given to us when we believe on Jesus Christ. God is both willing and able to heal.
Isaiah 53:4-5, Matt. 8:16
Jesus Christ will return soon one day to a) rapture His church - both those who have fallen asleep (died) and those who are alive - with Him into Heaven, b) start His 1,000 year reign on earth that brings universal peace, c) conduct the Final Judgement where those who have rejected Jesus Christ will be judged unfit and thrown into torment for eternity, and d) establish a New Heaven and a New Earth where righteousness reigns.
1 Thess. 4:16-17, Rev. 19:11-20:6, Isaiah 11:6-9, Rev. 20:11-21:8, 2 Peter 3:13 & Rev. 22
The Great Commission is our mission as we await Jesus Christ's Second Coming - to preach the Gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
